Empowering Artists: Think Tank's Doers & Dreamers Digital Arts Scholarship and Level Up Bursary Program

Think Tank Training Centre is running two unique programs to secure tuition funding for artists from anywhere in the world with previous experience in 3D and artists from Canada’s underrepresented communities.

CG school, Think Tank Training Centre, has launched two funding programs designed to help artists unlock their creative potential.


One of Canada’s highest ranked VFX, Game Art & Animation schools, Think Tank Training Centre, is running two unique programs to secure tuition funding for artists from anywhere in the world with previous experience in 3D and artists from Canada’s underrepresented communities.  

Level Up Bursary Program: Offering artists with previous experience in 3D up to $1,500CAD off tuition on a selection of portfolio training programs.

Doers and Dreamers ‘24: Sponsored by Warner Bros. Discovery Access Canada, five artists from Canada's historically marginalized communities will receive full tuition scholarships to Think Tank's signature online program.


Think Tank’s Level Up Bursary Program

Ahead of the June 3, 2024 Term Start, Think Tank is offering artists who apply to a selection of their portfolio-focused programs an entrance bursary towards their tuition. All applicants have to do is meet the program and general admission requirements as well as provide proof that they have attended a previous program in 3D Modeling, VFX, Animation, or Game Art.

The Details

This program is for artists with minimum foundational skills within 3D Art.
The bursary covers the following Think Tank programs:

  • CG Asset Portfolio Pre-Production and Production - 48 weeks Online
  • CG+3D Asset Portfolio Pre-Production and Production - 32 weeks Online + 16 weeks on Campus
  • 3D Asset Portfolio Pre-Production and Production - 32 weeks on Campus
  • 3D Asset Portfolio Production - 16 weeks on Campus

Doers and Dreamers Digital Arts Scholarship

Created in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, the Doers and Dreamers Digital Arts Scholarship is designed to create opportunities within the entertainment industry for artists from historically overlooked communities. People of all genders, abilities, and identities from underrepresented communities in Canada, including members of Indigenous, Black and racialized groups, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ2+ communities are encouraged to apply for this initiative.

The Details

This program is exclusively for Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents and Landed Immigrants. People of all genders, abilities, and identities from underrepresented communities in Canada, including members of Indigenous, Black and racialized groups, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ2+ communities are encouraged to apply!

Recipients will receive full tuition scholarships to Think Tank’s 64-week, fully-online CG Asset Creation for Film or Games program.

  • Applications are open from March 18 (9:00am EST) until April 19 (8:59pm EST)
  • Five applicants selected as recipients
  • Recipients receive tuition scholarship for Think Tank’s online CG Asset Creation for Film or Games
  • All software provided by Think Tank
