BREAKING — The Rookie Awards 2023, the renowned international competition for aspiring digital artists, has concluded its submission phase with an overwhelming response. From March to June this year, we received an astounding 5,500 entries from talented artists worldwide. Our esteemed judging panel meticulously reviewed each submission, resulting in a staggering 40,000 reviews.
Today, we are thrilled to unveil the category finalists, who will now compete for the prestigious titles of Rookie of the Year, Game of the Year, and Film of the Year. Additionally, participating finalists have the opportunity to secure valuable Career Opportunities with leading production companies, propelling their careers to new heights.

The finalists represent the very best entries selected by the judging panel which include some of the most influential and respected experts in their creative and technical fields.
Over 40,000 reviews were submitted by the judging panel which is absolutely mind blowing when you think about it.
The finalists have been selected by scoring each student based on criteria including creative skills, technical skills, presentation, variety of skills, complexity, raw talent, and employment potential. As always, the results have been extremely close with only a few points difference between the majority of nominees.

The judging panel gets straight back into it and now nominates their Top 5 selections for each of the categories. This information is then used to select all category winners, finalists and highly commended recipients.
The general public can now get involved by voting for their favourite entries. Simply visit the entry pages for a finalist and click the 'Vote for People's Choice" button. The entries with the highest share count will win.
Winner will be announced July 27, 2023 so make sure to check back soon.
